The JHO returns to Blu Jazz+ with a celebration of the composing and arranging talents of some of our membersDerrick Gardner

Derrick is bringing in a few of his critically acclaimed compositions including Still I Rise and Ballad for Trayvon.
Chris is contributing a new big band adaptation of 400 Years from his 9 Lives Project.
Nathan has done an arrangement of Aretha Franklin’s I Say A Little Prayer which we are excited to play for you.
You’ll also hear the band swinging hard on tunes by Frank Foster and Duke Pearson.
If all that’s not enough, we’ll also be celebrating our Artistic Director Dennis Reynolds’ 70th birthday!
